We are seeking a driven and dynamic individual to join our team as a Resourcer.  This role offers an excellent platform for professional development within the recruitment industry, with clear pathways for progression and rewarding opportunities for success.

The Role:

As a Resourcer at BRC, you will be starting an exciting journey, taking your first steps into a career in recruitment. You will develop confidence and capability around the candidate side of the recruitment process. You will be supporting an experienced recruiter by sourcing and qualifying candidates for existing roles and client requirements. You will learn about a niche industry and develop skills in marketing, interviewing, candidate sourcing and management as well as strategic capabilities.

This position requires confidence in speaking to people both on the phone and face to face, a strong work ethic and the desire to build a career and work within a team. Excellent listening skills and the ability to receive training, mentoring and feedback. You will continually build your experience and work within a personal development programme to meet your career path and goals. Your role involves working towards and delivering against targets. Volume and activity are paramount. We will train, coach and support you in building your expertise as a specialist in an industry niche, and building effective talent pooling strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve activity-based KPIs as agreed with your line manager.
  • Develop and expand your knowledge within your sector.
  • Learn how to manage the candidate (180) side of the recruitment process, from sourcing to placement.
  • Begin to deliver against targets and activity goals.
  • Specialise in a specific industry niche and stay informed on market trends.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pool to reduce recruitment lead times using our database.
  • Promote and embody the core values of BRC.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a positive working environment.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A desire to start a career in recruitment, with a view to becoming a recruiter when the time is right for you.
  • A desire to work with people at all levels.
  • Confidence to learn and develop.
  • Confidence to learn and build candidate sourcing skills through various channels.
  • Ability to ensure a positive experience for both clients and candidates throughout the process.
  • Time management and planning capability.
