Would you like to make a difference to a young person’s life? Do you feel passionate about positively contributing to changing the pathway a young person leaving care may follow?

If so, a young person’s project (16-25 years), is seeking a Support Worker to work one to one with clients, offering a range of services, including advice, support and information a small caseload of young adults with complex and challenging support needs.

As a support worker, you will focus on developing strong, trusting relationships with young people focusing on the development of independent living skills, tenancy management, accessing training and employment opportunities, managing family breakdown, promoting participation within the service and community engagement.

You will also link clients in with a variety of services, accompany them to appointments and acting as an advocate for the young people in order to negotiate solutions that meet their specific needs.

You will benefit for working for a long-standing manager and a leading Charity in South Wales. Furthermore, you will have plenty of time for your own personal commitments, as this position is a range of days and sleep in shifts.
