Specialist Coach – Domestic Violence
DURATION: FTC 12 months
HOURS: Mon – Fri – 9am -5pm (occasional on call rota) – remote working opportunities
Are you a proactive Support Worker with a good background in supporting clients who are fleeing domestic violence with mixed mental health conditions, at risk of homelessness or have experienced drug and alcohol dependencies? If so, a well - respected support provider in Hampshire is recruiting for a Coach and Specialist Coach start a 12-month FTC.
Working with a very experienced and approachable team this is great opportunity for someone with a background in supporting complex needs clients in both a supported living and outreach capacity.
Some day to day duties will include:
Deliver trauma informed, person-centred support to women and children who have complex needs who traditionally have difficulty accessing current refuge provision and domestic abuse services and will involve working closely with Southampton’s Homelessness Team.
Manage a caseload of customers who have complex needs and ensure a strength based, trauma informed approach that enables them to realise their potential.
