Are you a support professional with experience working within a sheltered housing environment? Are you skilled in providing dedicated support to elderly individuals with the aim of promoting independence?
If so, we are currently recruiting for a Scheme Coordinator to provide a flexible and responsive housing management service to tenants across Blaenau Gwent & Monmouthshire.
Your new role will find you responsible for the day to day management of a sheltered housing scheme, empowering residents to continue to live as independently as possible. You will visit residents in their homes, conducting welfare checks and engaging with tenants to ensure they feel supported. You will also organise activities for residents, in order to promote social interaction and encourage participation, whilst minimising isolation.
You will also be responsible for resident’s safety in the scheme and will be required to ensure the security of the property, conducting Health and Safety inspections, alarm checks and reporting maintenance repairs as necessary.
