Relief Support Worker

A very well-known Housing Group in Bristol is currently looking to recruit a Hostel Support Worker on a relief basis. This supported housing scheme is a front line service working with vulnerable young people and adults with the aim of making the project a safe and secure place of personal development.
This role will require you to be an ambassador for the project and maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders including, the local authority, local education & training providers, housing providers. Managing your own case load, you will ensure each client receives the appropriate service individual to their needs, empowering and supporting clients in order to help them regain control of their lives.
To be successful in this role, we require an enthusiastic, determined and patient individual, who can inspire and support vulnerable young people to exceed their expectations. Ideally, you will have experience with young people (aged 16-18), the homeless and care leavers and some specific safeguarding expertise.
