LOCATION:               Bath

SALARY:                   £12 – £13.50   Depending on experience

DURATION:               6-8 weeks Temporary

HOURS:                     37 Mon – Fri 9-5

Are you an enthusiastic support worker with experiencing supporting complex needs housing support? Have you supported a caseload of vulnerable people to manage their tenancy, maximise their welfare, and eventually move on? If yes, BRC have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading housing provider!

Main Activities and responsibilities for the Role:

• Regularly carry out building compliance checks i.e. fire, water, and health and safety checks.
• Promote the importance of maintaining their properties, mitigating risks.
• Create, review, and update risk and needs assessments.
• Work across multi-disciplinary teams, promoting the importance of these frameworks to the service user.
• Support service users to maintain their tenancies.
• Maximise welfare claims such as PIP, UC, and Housing Benefits
• Provide support, advice, and guidance to service users to manage risk.
• Support service users with induction to service.
• Encourage service users to reintegrate with society and the local community.
• Prepare void properties to be re-let, organising any necessary repairs.
