Position: Neighbourhood Housing Officer
Contract: 6-8 weeks
Location: Hampshire
Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay: £17 to £24 per hour depending on experience

Your Role:
As a Neighbourhood Housing Officer, your main responsibilities will include:
Tenant Support: Building and maintaining positive relationships with tenants, providing guidance on housing-related matters, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
Community Building: Organizing events and initiatives that encourage community engagement, social interaction, and a sense of belonging among residents.
Property Inspections: Conducting regular property inspections to ensure homes are well-maintained and in compliance with housing standards.
Lettings: Carrying out viewings, sign ups and reviewing nomination assessments within timescales, flagging any concerns.
Conflict Resolution: Actively resolving conflicts and disputes within the community in a professional and empathetic manner.
Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams to coordinate repairs, maintenance, and improvements to the housing units and common areas.
Requirements:
Previous experience in housing management, community development, or a related field is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure.
Proficiency in basic computer applications.
A genuine passion for creating positive community environments.
