BRC are working with a Reputable Housing Association in the South West who are looking for a Head of Property Services to help deliver an efficient range of major works to their homes and estates

Main Responsibilities:

1. Deliver a range of customer focused repairs and maintenance services and planned works to homes, buildings and estates within a property portfolio covering Devon
2. Ensure that all major works are delivered in a way which provides a great customer experience and value for money
3. Be responsible for the financial and operational management of Repairs, Maintenance, Planned Investment, and Compliance functions including: Repairs, home improvements, maintenance, gas servicing, electrical testing, void property delivery and grounds maintenance
4. Ensure all services are to a high standard of quality, efficiency cost effective and in line with health and safety legislation and compliance
5. Support the Assistant Director of Property in longer term planning. Maintaining Property KPI’s, report on divergence from set targets and communicate with managers and staff on achievements
6. Lead and develop a team of staff, ensuring they are meeting performance requirements by providing meetings, 1-2-1’s and appraisals
7. Contribute to developing new opportunities and relationships in line with a strategic approach to develop a customer focused service and deliver the expected financial, reputational and organisational goals

Job Requirements

• Full Driving Licence
• HNC/HND or equivalent
• Previous experience in Social Housing – Delivery Repairs, Maintenance and Property Services
