Description

Are you a committed Support Worker who could make a positive impact on the lives of women and families who have suffered from domestic violence? Would you benefit from working part time hours in a rewarding front-line role? If so, a respected Domestic Violence support charity is recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to join their experienced team in Brecon.

You will work within the support team to identify and address the support needs of individual families who are escaping domestic abuse. A key requirement is to provide empowerment and personal welfare support in their safe, supportive, and welcoming residential environment and to ensure that women are provided with a high-quality service in line with Supporting People requirements.

This is a rewarding, yet challenging role which would suit a Support Worker who is resilient but able to work with empathy. Additionally, you will benefit from having a strong understanding of the challenges faced by clients fleeing from abuse.

In return you will be offered a competitive hourly rate, close supervision from your team leader, along with part-time hours which offer you the chance of a good work-life balance.
