BRC are working exclusively in collaboration with Cynon Taf Community Housing in Abercynon who are looking for a Development Manager on a Permanent Basis.
 
Cynon Taf Community Housing Group is in the heart of Rhondda Cynon Taf in glorious South Wales. They are proud of their communities and deep-rooted history, providing homes and support to the people who live in them. They currently provide 1845 homes for rent, including 4 housing schemes for older people, two women’s refuges, and a number of supported housing projects delivered in partnership with other agencies. They have some exciting new developments in the pipeline, and currently have on-site developments which will deliver 48 new homes in 2020/21 bringing a mix of general needs and adapted houses, flats and bungalows.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services and managing the Development Officer you will lead all strategic, corporate and operational aspects associated with the development programme, ensuring efficient and effective services to all residents and communities and promoting value for money. You will also prepare programmes of work and budgets, and exercise effective monitoring in ensuring cost control and targeting of resources.

Requirement – You must have a valid driver’s licence (this role offers a car allowance)
Working Arrangement - Currently offers home working with the aim of introducing blended working
