Are you a proactive social housing professional who has strengths in income and anti-social behaviour? If so, a housing provider in Cardiff has approached BRC seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Officer on a temporary basis.
Reporting into the Neighbourhood Manager, you will be required to work as part of a team of generic Neighbourhood Officers to provide a generic housing management service to a large patch of properties.
You will be required to carry out home visits, conducting general estate and property management duties where required and managing turnover of void properties. The role will also include resolving any Anti-social Behaviour cases and ensuring that tenancy management is maintained.
Working with Housing Officers, you will provide advice on any welfare benefit changes, in order to support tenants to sustain their tenancies and provide advice surrounding the welfare reform.
The successful candidate will have experience of working as a Housing or Neighbourhood Officer overseeing a patch of social housing properties, as well as hold a full driving license and have access to a car.
