Do you have experience supporting vulnerable others that have experience with drug and alcohol abuse?
If so, we have a temporary position making a valuable difference by working with vulnerable people aged 18+ that come from unsupportive communities who need guidance and support them on their pathway to sobriety.
Work within a leading health charity, working in a team of like-minded professionals where everyone is seen as a valued member of a small work family.
The main function of the role is to provide practical and emotional support to those that have various complex needs to enable them to maintain their tenancies, participate in meaningful activities such as education, training or employment and resettle to appropriate accommodation in the community.
The successful candidate will be able to establish positive working relationships with clients, support them with welfare benefit forms and deal with any disputes or maintenance issues.
Some experience of housing management duties is advantageous encompassed with managing a caseload of clients and completing risk assessments. Accompany clients to accommodation viewings, coaching them in the valuable life skills required to sustain their tenancies.
Working hours are 18.75 (equivalent to 2.5 days). There is flexibility in when these 2.5 days can be – Standard working hours being Mon-Fri 9-5.
