One of our main clients in central Bristol are looking for a Responsive Repairs Supervisor to manage their Responsive Maintenance team on a 6-month basis with opportunity for it to become a permanent role.
The job will be varied, exciting and will bring new challenges daily. You will be responsible for the management of social housing properties across Bristol, making sure repairs are diagnosed correctly and carried out promptly and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to someone who wants to build their supervising career within a social housing industry and to gain insight into the world of social housing
You will be maintaining day-to-day supervision of a team of Response Surveyors, who are responsible for repairs to the City Council's stock of dwellings, buildings and land managed by Landlord Services. You will be supervising & supporting teams & contractors to achieve high customer satisfaction within budgetary targets and providing a cost effective, value for money service whilst affectively managing time and prioritizing tasks.
You will need:
A full & clean driving license is essential, due to the need for travel to different residents’ homes. An HNC or equivalent qualifications in a relevant construction field is also desirable, alongside further practical experience to demonstrate competence within the field, and experience with managing a team of trade operatives.
