Are you a strong Support Worker who has the skills, knowledge and drive to make a difference to the lives of homeless people facing challenges around substance misuse and mental health? If so, a recognised National Homeless Charity is recruiting for a hardworking Support Worker to start in June/July.
You will be working as part of an enthusiastic team who provide 24-hour support in a 15 unit emergency temporary accommodation service for people waiting for housing support from the local housing department.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be required to support individuals through their time in the project, managing a caseload, creating resettlement plans and signposting to further services, with the aim to successfully source a longer-term housing solution.
By joining the rolling rota, you will work a combination of day shifts between Monday and Sunday which will give you plenty of time for your own personal commitments. You will benefit from weekly pay, the opportunity to work overtime hours to increase your earnings and free on-street parking.
