BRC are working with one of Newport’s leading housing associations who are looking for a compliance surveyor with experience in Asbestos Management!
Compliance Surveyor (Asbestos)

An exciting new role has been created to join the Compliance and Cyclical Works team as a Compliance Surveyor. The role will assist in the delivery of a professional compliance service, leading defined projects pertaining to statutory technical compliance relating to asbestos management.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the client complies with its statutory duties as a landlord in regards to asbestos management. To ensure asbestos surveys are carried out within defined timescales with recommendations completed in accordance with legislation and regulations. You will also be required to provide technical asbestos advice to internal and external colleagues/contractors across the association, and a key aspect of this will be to deliver training and coaching to staff to help support a robust asbestos awareness culture.
For this role you it is essential that you have P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings, knowledge of CDM Regulations, and experience of implementing and reviewing asbestos risk assessments and recommending remedial action. Excellent IT skills and knowledge and experience of MS Office programmes is also required.
This role is full time Monday to Friday (08:30am – 5:00pm) and offers excellent benefits inclusive and generous holiday allowance and pension scheme. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
