Our client, a small yet growing Housing Association in Bristol is seeking a Housing Support Worker for their low-to-medium level scheme. Be involved with this small and supportive team, where everyone is seen as a valued member of a small work family.
The main function of the role is to provide practical and emotional support to those that have various complex needs such as substance misuse, mental health, homelessness experience to enable them to maintain their tenancies, participate in meaningful activities such as education, training or employment and resettle to appropriate accommodation in the community.

The successful candidate will be able to establish positive working relationships with clients, support them with welfare benefit forms and deal with any disputes or maintenance issues. Some experience of housing management duties is advantageous encompassed with managing a caseload of clients and completing risk assessments. Accompany clients to accommodation viewings, coaching them in the valuable life skills required to sustain their tenancies.
