We were honoured to attend the Prince’s Trust Ruby Red Dinner on Thursday the 6th of October. The fundraising event celebrated the Trust’s 40th anniversary and was held at the Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol.
The evening was hosted by BBC presenter Jon Kay and centred around an exciting live auction with lots including; a Mozambique cushion shaped ruby, tickets to the X Factor Final, and a bespoke Aardman Animations sculpture which had been hand crafted to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of The Trust.
Guests were treated to a fantastic meal from well-known Chef Josh Eggleton, and the entertainment was provided by award winning jazz musician Jamie Cullum.
The Princes Trust was established by Prince Charles in 1976 and aims to help disadvantaged 13-30 year olds get into employment, education and training.
A new South West regional development committee has been set up by a group of leading business figures to help the organisation raise vital funds to support young people.
The committee aims to raise more than £1,000,000 during 2016-17 to go directly towards The Prince’s Trust in the region and help bring to life its vision that every young person should have the chance to succeed.
