BRC supports ‘Paris 2 Penybont’ charity bike ride

BRC supports the NPT Homes “Paris 2 Penybont” Bike Ride in aid of Anthony Nolan

Sales Director, Sarah Boyle and Regional Business Manager for Wales, Ian Thomas recently visited Chief Executive of NPT Homes, Linda Whittaker to support the NPT Homes chosen charity of the year, Anthony Nolan. Sarah and Ian presented a donation on behalf of BRC, in aid of the Paris to Penybont bike ride which is due to take place this July. Headed by Andrew Carey of NPT Homes, a group of cyclists will take on the epic 500 mile journey from Paris to Penybont (Bridgend) with the aim of raising £20,000 for Anthony Nolan.

NPT_Homes_2The Paris to Penybont ride will be in memory of Hollie Clark and in support of the Anthony Nolan charity. Hollie inspired the #pantsonyourhead campaign which managed to increase registrations by 2580% in the UK during the summer of 2014.

Following the meeting, Sarah said: “When we found out that a team from NPT Homes were cycling from Paris to Bridgend in support of Anthony Nolan we were very keen to offer our support. This charity does amazing work saving the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders. Every day Anthony Nolan match individuals willing to donate their stem cells or bone marrow, with patients who are desperately in need lifesaving transplants.”

The bike ride with start on July 13th 2015 at the Eifel Tower and will end 6 days and 500 miles later in Penybont. Sarah, Ian and all at BRC wish the riders the very best of luck on their journey.
