BRC Cardiff raise money for Llamau

Our team in Cardiff have signed up to take part in Active April to raise money for Llamau.

#ActiveApril is a promise to be active every day in April for at least 30 minutes, or to pay a fine.

Llamau is the leading Homelessness Charity for the most vulnerable young people and women in Wales. The word Llamau means steps, progression, or threshold in old Welsh, and the charity’s aim is to support the people who use their services in making these positive steps.

Llamau believes that no young person or vulnerable woman should have to experience homelessness.

BRC Regional Business Manager, Ian Thomas, was keen to get involved: “Active April is a great way to support this fantastic local charity whilst encouraging us all to do more exercise and to get a bit fitter. We will be paying a fine for any day that we don’t complete 30 minutes of exercise and have also set up a just giving page to raise some additional funds”
