Drew Main and Mark Grove from our Bristol Office attended the National Housing Federation Annual Conference and Social Housing Exhibition which took place at the Birmingham ICC from 22nd of September to 25th September.
Our stand at the Exhibition was in a very good location near the entrance to the exhibition hall which ensured we were able to meet with a lot of our current and future clients during the conference breaks.
Speaking to delegates, the conference was thought provoking and informative particularly considering recent Government policy announcements during a time of change within the sector. The Right to Buy debate was a particular Political hot topic for the week as announcement came out that communities could voluntarily enter into the Right to Buy proposals for Housing Associations.
This was our second year attending the National Housing Federation Annual Conference. We gained some excellent contacts and managed to catch up with some existing clients who we have been working with for some time. New partnerships were formed and we look forward to working with some excellent organisations off the back of our week in Birmingham.
Thank you to everyone who visited us on our stand, and to those who didn’t manage to get around to us; we look forwards to speaking with you shortly.
